The Dark Forest (Ibiza)

Y bueno... Bien merecido se lo tienen... Por supuesto que estoy hablando de la Swedish House Mafia, conformada por Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso y Axwell que este verano van a tener su propia fiesta nada menos que en el Pachá Ibiza, aquel que detonaron el año pasado como invitados especiales de las fiestas "Pure Pachá" y "Subliminal Sessions". Esta vez, el boliche más top de la isla decidió darles las convocantes noches de los lunes a esta agrupación, para que cada semana lleven adelante las fietsas "The Dark Forest", que los tendrán como residentes.
Es sabido que este es el momento del house, y nadie puede negar que la SHM son los que encabezan la fiesta, por lo que no es raro que Pachá apostara a dejarles la noche que dejó libre "Release Yourself", la fiesta de Roger Sánchez que este año se muda a Amnesia.
Como sé que acá va a haber un enfieste jodido, es fija que voy a ir para volarme la peluca, juntarla, ponermela de nuevo y volarla de otra vez!!!

Electronic music’s premier outfit, Swedish House Mafia, have announced they’ll be taking over Monday’s at Pacha, Ibiza from 22 June. Comprising Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, SHM will be far bringing their show to the island every week.

The night’s theme, ‘The Dark Forest’, draws on the iconography of North European fantasy, and harks back to the Romanesque parties that gave Ibiza its first taste of pleasure.

Each Monday, Pacha will be transformed into a theatrical playground via a collision of music and bacchanalian spectacle – think fairies, fawns, wolves, transvestites, and animalistic pleasure. Adorned with masks or wearing face paint, the crowd is the party; the DJs are simply the ringmasters. Interaction is a must.

Clubs should be extraordinary, magical places, where the mundane and the everyday are left at the door. Accordingly - though the music is the central element – ‘The Dark Forest’ looks beyond the normal dancefloor experience to create something unique. The newly transformed Pacha, Ibiza is the perfect host, drawing a young, fresh, and cosmopolitan crowd who demand more from their nocturnal pleasures.

Special effects are being shipped in from across the world. Watch out for lasers, fire bursts, and lightening strikes amongst the set design. With visual cues for the decor from ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ and ‘The Never Ending Story’, and costume influences from Stanley Kubrick’s ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, The Dark Forest will be unlike any other White Island experience this summer.

Each week, the finest international DJs and live musicians alike will join the Swedish trio, with some very special guests dropping in throughout the season, including Dirty South, Sharam (Deep Dish), Basement Jaxx, Bob Sinclar, Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Kim Fai and An21.
